As there were only four nominations, the Parish Council has one ordinary vacancy which can be filled by co-option. If there is no co-option by 27th June 2023 (35 working days after the new council term commenced) the matter will be referred to the Monitoring Officer at Harborough District Council.

As there are more candidates than vacant seats an election will be held for the Bosworth Ward on 4th May 2023.

As there are less or equal candidates to vacant seats no election will be held for the North Kilworth Parish. Sitting Councillors will stay in place until 8th May 2023.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A road closure is required on South Kilworth Road, North Kilworth on the 3 rd April 2023 for 5 days.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Phoenix Surfacing Limited on behalf of Snowdon Homes Limited to undertake S278 works.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the March 2023 meeting, scheduled for 13.03.23, has had to be postponed. A new date will be scheduled as soon as possible.

The September meeting of the Parish Council, planned to take place on 12th, has been postponed. Three clear days notice is required to convene a meeting of the Parish Council. Days of National Mourning do not count as clear days. Therefore, the required notice period has not been fulfilled.
